Hi There! I’m Karen! I’m a transplanted Jersey girl who has a real passion for food, travel and writing. What’s a better place to combine all three then right here?
I’m a certified chef who graduated from the Academy of Culinary Arts, as well as Penn State University. After working in various positions within the hospitality industry around the country, including Atlantic City, Walt Disney World and broadcast television, I wanted to share my knowledge of food with you.
I’ve also been fortunate enough to travel to a few different countries, absorbing their culture and culinary traditions along the way. These experiences, combined with my knowledge and my drive to teach people as much as I can about food has brought me here. Writing has always been a love of mine. My hope is that you will see that through my recipes, my recommendations and my writing.
But there’s a lot more to me then just being a Chef. Additionally, I’m a giant kid at heart with sarcastic humor, big curly hair and am blessed with the best family and friends a woman could want. Being a big fan of design and styling, I love home decor, makeup and expressing myself in both of those areas. I have an obsession with all things England, love dry humor and am a proud nerd. I have an amazing boyfriend and am a proud fur Momma.

Recipes
Some recipes are staples and should be respected for their history, what they have brought to the culinary table and their cooking techniques. I’m all about that. But I’m also all about changing things up and coming up with new and inventive recipes.
Travel
What one person wants out of a travel experience is not the same as the next. I’m here to tell you what I have found what works, what doesn’t work and what my recommendations might be for you. There’s a lot to explore out there!
Life and So Much More!
Not only are we continuing to cook and travel, but I’m going to open up about a lot more elements of me and my life. I’m a culinary instructor as well as a free lance Food Stylist. I’m an avid WW member, a makeup addict, a Disney nerd and much more! I want to share my daily adventures through life with you!
