I’ve been waiting for this week since this blog came to be. Since I was 7 years old and watched Mary Poppins for the first time, I wanted to go to England. London specifically seemed to call to me. The history of the city, the stories that have come from it, the architecture, the properness, all of it. I’m a complete Anglophile. I love movies, the tv shows, the food, the culture, everything. So when I finally got to travel there two years ago, it was living a dream come true. London and the areas of England that we traveled to not only lived up to but surpassed my expectations.
Because we enjoyed so much of this country and because it has become so embedded in my heart, one week will not do for it. So this one we will visit once a quarter most likely, featuring different themes or areas. This week, we will be diving into some British Classics, along with sharing a bit of my personal experiences. So grab a cup of tea, maybe a scone or some chips and settle in. Watch this space!
